Back To Shrewsbury

January 8, 2013

There’s no doubt about it, Sunday was tiring.  At 10 AM we found ourselves in a cold muddy field in Newport to play while people ran around in circles in aid of Macmillan Cancer Research:

After a swift pint and some curry cooked by our good friend Quinny (landlord of Newport’s The Phez, he of the bear suit in the video), we travelled over to Ironbridge to play at the pub’s staff Xmas party.

Through the two gigs we tried out three or four new songs which you’ll be able to see in our upcoming gigs and we were joined for both by our pet keyboardist, Sir Simon Prattle. Si will be joining us for the occasional gig throughout 2013 – check back here for news.

This Friday, the 11th, we’ll be back at The Old Post Office in Shrewsbury, so come along if you’re in the area.

If you’ve come here via our website, you may have already seen our In Rehearsal video, otherwise sit back and enjoy the following, a record of our secret rehearsal session from last week.
